For Android users, we recommend setting Google Fit as your steps provider.
You will notice there are a choice of two Google Fit icons in the Treekly app to chose from.
The Google Fit icon with the heart symbol in the corner refers to Health Connect. This is Google's "bridge" allowing 3rd parties (such as Treekly) to request your steps data, subject to your permissions. For guidance on how to connect via Health Connect click here
The other Google Fit icon in Treekly (without a symbol) is configured to use Terra as the "bridge".
To connect to Google Fit (via Terra):
On the Home screen, tap the link 🔗 icon next to the steps counter.
This will open the Health connector page - here tap Google Fit and press Connect when the pop-up box appears.
You will be redirected to the Google login or permissions page (if logged in).
Select the 2 unticked permissions (Calendar and Activity) and press Continue.
Return to the Treekly app and you will be connected to Google.
