Android 14 (API 34) or higher.
You do not need to install Health Connect, as it is embedded in Android 14. Please ensure that you uninstall Health Connect via the Google Play Store to prevent any potential clashes between the two instances. The Health Connect app has been uninstalled if you see the "Install" or "Update" button.
Android 9 (API 28) or higher.
You must install the Health Connect app before synchronising your steps with Treekly.
Android 8.1 (API 27) or lower.
Not supported.
To connect to Google Health via Health Connect:
Open the Google Health app.
From the Today tab, tap the devices icon (top left).
Under Apps and services, tap Partner apps.
Follow the on-screen instructions to set up Health Connect.
Choose what data Google Health can access/write - Steps and Distance required.
If prompted, open Health Connect and confirm Google Health is listed under App permissions.
On the Treekly app:
On the Home screen, tap the link 🔗 icon next to the steps counter.
This will open the Health Connect page. Tap Google Health (with the blue heart Health Connect symbol).
The Health Connect screen will open if Treekly lacks the required permissions. Allow Treekly to read the Steps and Distance data.
Select the “I'm ready for Treekly to connect“ checkbox.
Tap Connect.
