Apple Health allows you to sync your step count data with the Treekly app. Here's how to connect them:
In the Treekly App:
Tap the link icon next to the steps counter on the Home screen. This opens the Connections screen.
Tap "Health" under the Connections screen.
When prompted, tap "Allow" to permit Treekly to read your Apple Health data.
If you don't see the permission prompt:
Open the Apple Health app and tap your profile picture.
Tap "Apps" and find Treekly in the list.
Under "Data Types," make sure "Steps" is toggled on to allow Treekly to read your step count.
Connecting the two apps enables Treekly to pull your daily step totals from Apple Health automatically.
Most Apple Health issues are caused by permissions being revoked. To confirm your permissions:
1) Open the Apple Health app, and click your avatar in the upper right corner.
2) Click "Apps" in the Privacy area, and locate the Treekly App.
3) Select the 'Steps' as the data type Treekly is allowed to read.
If your steps are still not being pulled through, please go ahead and reinstall the Treekly app as Apple Health may have permanently denied access to the app and a reinstallation resets this process.
If you reinstall the app, rest assured that your forest, community, and account will be safe. Log back in to regain access.
